 s to Cheyne Walk Club as we once again host the Northampton heat of the co
 mpetition\, in partnership with The Comedy Crate.\nBilled as the “FA Cup
  of Comedy”\, the competition sees comedians battle it out across heats 
 around the country for the chance to progress through the competition - an
 d ultimately be crowned British Comedian of the Year.\nOn the night\, eigh
 t comedians will take to the stage\, each hoping to secure their place in 
 the semi-finals. But there's a twist - the result is decided by you!\nThe 
 audience will vote for their favourite performances\, meaning you'll have 
 a genuine say in which comedian progresses to the next stage of the compet
 ition.\nWith eight different acts in one evening\, it's a brilliant opport
 unity to discover new comedians\, enjoy a fantastic variety of live stand-
 up and experience the excitement of a comedy competition where every perfo
 rmance counts.\nThe eventual winner of the competition will take home a £
 10\,001 cash prize – the biggest in UK comedy.\nWe're delighted to be ho
 sting the Northampton heat again following last year's event and to contin
 ue working with The Comedy Crate to support and grow live comedy here in N
 orthampton.\nEveryone is welcome – you don't need to be a member of Chey
